Sesame Ponzu Marinated Chicken

This easy to make marinade is great for chicken, but also delicious with fish, tofu or veggies.  One of the major flavor components of this marinade is Ponzu. Ponzu, is a citrus based sauce, commonly used in Japanese cooking. Its sweet, salty and tart.  Its available in most grocery stores in the Ethnic Isle, Asian Markets or online ( add link). An unusual ingredient in this marinade is Tahini paste. Commonly, used in Mediterranean cooking, you wouldn’t think of using it in an Asian inspired dish, but trust me, it makes total sense. Since Tahini paste is made out of ground Sesame seeds, it pairs nicely with all the other flavors just as sesame oil does. Serve this delicious chicken along with Brown rice or Miso Ginger Soba noodle veggie bowls
