Avocado Green Goddess Dressing


I’m calling this dressing, Goddess dressing, because its beautiful, delicious and healthy. A trifecta if you will.  For the decadent feeling and taste of this dressing, not may would guess that this dressing is totally Vegan. Plant based or Vegan dressing can sometimes get a bad wrap in the flavor department but let me just say……it will probably be one of the best dressing you ever had in your life.  Vegan or not. Its AMAZING !!! Creamy, tart, a bit salty and savory.  The health benefits in this dressing are definitely an added bonus. Avocados are loaded with heart healthy monounsaturated Fatty acid that can help lower Cholesterol and protect your heart. They also contain more potassium then Bananas and are great source of Oleic acid , which has been shown to reduce inflammation. Alternatively, Avocados are a great substitute for dairy products in plant based cooking. They add the perfect creaminess to any dish, dressing or dip. This superfood dressing is a goddess in my book and I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I do.


Avocado Green Goddess Dressing

Makes 2 cups


  • 2 large perfectly ripe Hass Avocados
  • zest and juice of one small lemon or half of a larger
  • 2 cloves of roasted garlic or raw garlic
  • 1 cup of filtered water
  • 1/4 cup of fresh Cilantro ( rinsed and patted dry)
  • 1-2 teaspoons of kosher Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Crack Black pepper


  1. In a blender add avocado , garlic and water and blend
  2. add salt, pepper, lemon zest and juice
  3. last add Cilantro and blend until all ingredients are completely smooth. Taste for seasoning and adjust if need be. If mixture is too thick you can add a bit more water
